The Apple In The Mirror

Look at my color, look at my shape
imagine how wonderful I will taste
and when I'm offered to you
I will send you softly to sleep
bite into me, drift off into sleep
mirror mirror on the wall
you make a witch of us all
how I wanna break you
you make my life so hard
mirror mirror on the wall
Look at my color, look at my shape
imagine how wonderful I will taste
and when I'm offered to you

King

I was a king I controlled it all
I tripped it up and I watched it fall
lots of money meant nothing to me
I spent it all and lived happily

I gotta find a way out of this place
I hit the ground running from my own face
I was a king I controlled it all
I tripped it up and I watched it fall

I want to remain a mystery
to myself and this world
my name will go down in history
as a map to guide you through a dream

and the end comes marching in (repeat)

They say that I am not king no more
said I was crazy to leave myself poor
and this reality I can not take
I spend my time on the floor of the lake

and the end comes marching in (repeat)

We build and rebuild and
it all falls down.
it is the fabric of our lives
we are woven from the same
we are directed by the sun
the breathe of inertia

Animals

Animals, yes we are
Isn't it wonderful the way we are
Isn't it wonderful the way things are
Isn't it wonderful the way we are
Animals, yes we are
Some of us are dinosaurs
Some of us are birds
Some of us use symbols
Some of us use words
Isn't it wonderful the way we are
Animals, yes we are
Some of us are blue whales
Some of us giraffes
Some of us like silence
Some of us need laughs
Animals, yes we are
And we get to live in the now

Snowglobe

This is life, drink it down
you should enjoy, any flavor you like
it can not be caged or it will get stale
and there might not be seconds, live it now
You can look at the Snowglobe,
but you don't want what is inside
to stretch who you are
you must shake up your life.
You must confess, so you can move on
to a brand new canvas for you to paint on
how you feel, with any color you like
until there is no more me
just what I'm feeling inside
